And it's about to get a lot busier. It's Tuesday night and I've already been swamped at work- outta control stuff to do. Teaching classes, registering students, developing new curriculum, preparing new classes for next quarter, research, and answering about a billion emails. (And yes, I still maintain that I have the coolest job ever.) But seriously, this week is about to take off. My new Doctorate class started today, so instead of spending hours on WGSN researching macro trends for spring/summer 2013 and marketing trends for luxury retailers, I'm reading the first two chapters of Fundamentals of Organizational Communication: Knowledge, Sensitivity, Skills, and Values and about to write a 5-page paper on organizational communication systems within higher education institutions. Jealous?
Even though I have class BOTH Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5, I am getting ridiculously excited for my upcoming nights, with fashion events for the rest of the week. Don't forget to attend this year's Naked Without Us fashion and rock festival featuring local designers and musicians. I'll be there Wednesday through Saturday, so come say hi! Buy me a Diet Coke.
